Where to Buy Kendamil in Europe
2027 country-by-country guide to organic, goat and comfort formula delivery
A note on feeding. Breastfeeding is the best way to feed a baby, and health authorities recommend it exclusively for around the first six months. This article is written for families who have already decided, with their healthcare provider, to use formula, or who are combination feeding.
If you live in Europe and have tried to buy Kendamil, you have probably run into one of three walls: your local shops do not stock it, the brand’s own store does not deliver to your country, or the tin you want is out of stock.
You are not imagining it. Kendamil is a British brand, made by Kendal Nutricare in Cumbria, and its European distribution is genuinely uneven. Its UK shop does not ship internationally at all. Its separate EU shop serves a short list of countries — Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and mainland Spain. Everywhere else in Europe, there is no direct route from the brand to your door.
We ship Kendamil across Europe from our warehouse in Kaunas, Lithuania, including to every country on that “everywhere else” list. This guide sets out what the situation actually is in thirteen countries, what we can deliver, and how long it takes.
Availability changes. We review this guide every quarter, and it is always worth checking the brand’s own store alongside ours before you order.

Countries the official Kendamil EU store reaches
In these four markets you have a direct option from the brand as well as ours. Worth knowing what each gives you.
Ireland (Kendamil Ireland)
Ireland is the best-served market on this list. Kendamil appears in Irish retail, and the brand’s EU store delivers here.
The thing to know is naming. Irish and UK shelves carry Classic and Organic. Continental European tins, including the ones we ship, say Premium and Bio Nature. Broadly, Premium is the non-organic whole milk line and Bio Nature the organic one, but these are formulated for their own markets rather than being identical products under two names. If your baby is settled on one, read the ingredient panel before switching.
Where we tend to help Irish customers is range and availability — the goat line, the Comfort formula, and stock when the official store is between deliveries.
Spain (Kendamil España)
The Kendamil EU store serves mainland Spain. If you are on the peninsula, that is a direct route worth checking first.
The Canary Islands are the exception, and it is a significant one. The Canaries sit outside the EU VAT area, which means parcels require customs paperwork and attract local tax (IGIC) rather than Spanish VAT. Most sellers that quote “mainland Spain” are excluding the islands entirely. If you are in Las Palmas or Santa Cruz, check the delivery terms carefully wherever you order — including with us, since our shipping rates and paperwork differ for the islands.
The Balearics are inside the EU VAT area and are treated as normal Spanish deliveries.
France (Kendamil France)
The EU store serves France, and Kendamil appears in some French retail and cross-border pharmacy sites, though not in mainstream supermarkets.
French customers ordering from us most often want the goat range or Comfort, which are harder to find locally, or a larger multi-tin order that clears free shipping. Tins arriving from us carry European multilingual labelling, which typically includes French.
Italy (Kendamil Italia)
The EU store serves Italy. As in France, Kendamil is not a supermarket staple, and availability leans on pharmacies and cross-border online sellers.
Italian parents searching for latte in polvere Kendamil usually find the brand’s own store first. Check it. If the stage or line you want is unavailable there, or you want goat or Comfort, we ship to Italy in 3–6 working days.
Countries the official store does not reach
This is where the gap is real, and where most of our European Kendamil orders come from.
Netherlands (Kendamil Nederland)
The Kendamil EU store does not deliver to the Netherlands, and Dutch retail coverage is thin. Cross-border retailers have listed Kendamil products in the past and then discontinued them, which is why Dutch parents often find a product page that turns out to be unavailable.
Dutch customers searching Kendamil flesvoeding or biologische flesvoeding generally have three options: an international reseller, a pharmacy that will special-order, or ordering directly from a European warehouse. We ship to the Netherlands in 3–6 working days, with the full range including Bio Nature, goat and Comfort.
Denmark (Kendamil Danmark)
Denmark has no official Kendamil store delivery and very little local stock. Danish online pharmacies carry Holle, Semper and Nestlé NAN, but Kendamil is largely absent from the mainstream channels.
If you are searching Kendamil modermælkserstatning and finding nothing, that is why. We deliver to Denmark in 3–6 working days. Danish customers are inside the EU, so no customs paperwork or import charges apply — the price you see is the price you pay.
Portugal (Kendamil Portugal)
Portugal is the clearest gap of all. The brand’s EU store ships to Spain but not to Portugal, which has been a documented frustration among Portuguese parents for years — the brand is one border away and still out of reach. Parents who do find it locally often report paying substantially more.
We ship to Portugal in 3–6 working days, EU-internal, with no customs charges. Portuguese customers searching leite infantil Kendamil or leite infantil biológico will find our full range, including the goat line.
Outside the EU: Switzerland and Norway
Both countries sit outside the EU customs union, so the rules are different — and in one respect, better.
Switzerland (Kendamil Schweiz)
Kendamil is not widely stocked in Swiss pharmacies, which mostly carry Bimbosan, Holle and Aptamil. Swiss formula prices are also high by European standards.
How pricing works for you. Because Switzerland is outside the European Union, we do not charge EU VAT on your order. Our prices for Swiss customers are shown without it, which is a genuine saving before anything else is counted.
What to expect on delivery. Swiss import VAT and a carrier handling fee may be charged when the parcel arrives. Factor that into your comparison rather than only looking at the tin price. Even so, for most of the range the landed cost compares well against Swiss pharmacy shelves.
Delivery runs 3–6 working days plus customs clearance, which varies.
Norway (Kendamil Norge)
Kendamil is not stocked in Norwegian supermarkets or pharmacy chains in any meaningful way. Norwegian parents searching Kendamil morsmelkerstatning are generally looking at cross-border options from the start.
As with Switzerland, Norway is outside the EU, so we do not charge EU VAT. Norwegian import VAT may apply on arrival depending on the order value and how it is declared — check our delivery page for how this is handled on Norwegian orders before you buy.
Delivery runs 3–6 working days plus customs.
Poland and the Baltics
Poland (Kendamil Polska)
Poland is the one market on this list where local availability is genuinely reasonable. Kendamil’s continental range is distributed in Poland, and you will find tins with Polish packaging in pharmacies and on Polish e-commerce sites.
So why order from us? Two reasons. Range — the goat line, Comfort and the full spread of stages are not always stocked locally. And larger orders, where our free shipping threshold over €120 and same-day dispatch can work out better than assembling an order from several Polish sellers.
If you only need one tin of Premium 1, buy it locally. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise. Delivery from us to Poland is fast — typically 2–4 working days.
Lithuania (Kendamil Lietuva)
We are a Lithuanian company, based in Kaunas. Lithuanian customers should shop at kobioki.lt, our Lithuanian site, where everything is in Lithuanian, prices are in euros with Lithuanian VAT, and delivery is 1–2 working days.
Latvia (Kendamil Latvija)
Latvia is next door to our warehouse, which makes it one of our fastest destinations — typically 2–3 working days. Kendamil has limited presence in Latvian retail, and the goat and Comfort lines in particular are hard to find locally.
Latvia is inside the EU, so there are no customs charges or import paperwork. Free delivery applies over €120.
Estonia (Kendamil Eesti)
Same picture as Latvia: 2–3 working days from Kaunas, no customs, limited local availability of the specialist lines.
Estonian parents searching for imported formula often end up on Finnish or Swedish sites with high shipping costs. Ordering from Lithuania is usually both faster and cheaper.
Which Kendamil products we ship
Our European range covers the full continental line-up:
- Kendamil Premium — stages 1, 2 and 3. Whole milk base, no palm oil.
- Kendamil Bio Nature — stages 1, 2 and 3. The organic line, EU Organic certified.
- Kendamil Goat — stages 1, 2 and 3. Whole goat milk, no palm oil.
- Kendamil Comfort — from birth, for babies with digestive sensitivity.
- Kendamil Ready-to-Feed — pre-mixed bottles.
If you are unsure which line is which, our Kendamil range guide explains how Premium, Bio Nature, Classic and Organic relate to each other and which stages exist in each.
Goat formula is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy, as the proteins can cross-react. Speak to your pediatrician if allergy is the reason you are considering it.
Delivery, shipping costs and returns
Dispatch. Orders are prepared within 2–4 business hours and shipped the same day on working days.
Free shipping on orders over €120 to most European countries. For formula that is roughly four to five 800 g tins — close to a month’s supply for a baby feeding entirely on formula.
Delivery times run 1–2 working days in Lithuania, 2–4 across the Baltics and Poland, and 3–6 working days to Western and Southern Europe. Switzerland and Norway add customs clearance time, which varies.
Customs. Deliveries within the EU carry no customs charges. Switzerland, Norway and the Canary Islands sit outside the EU VAT area and may attract import charges on arrival.
Damage. Every tin ships sealed in original European packaging. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo and we will replace it.
Why Kendamil is hard to find in Europe
A short explanation, because customers ask.
Kendamil is a comparatively young brand that grew very quickly in the UK, then expanded outward. Its UK operation and its EU operation are separate, and the UK shop does not ship internationally. The EU shop was built to serve a handful of larger markets, and the rest of Europe has been filled in by distributors country by country — which is why Poland has decent coverage and Portugal has almost none.
Infant formula also carries heavier regulatory requirements than most products, so entering a new market is slower and more expensive than it would be for, say, a toy. Small markets get served last.
Periodic stock shortages are the other factor. Demand has repeatedly outrun supply on the powder lines, which is why parents in even the well-served countries find tins unavailable. That is one reason it helps to have more than one supplier bookmarked.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kendamil sold in the EU?
Yes, but unevenly. The brand operates an EU store serving Ireland, Germany, France, Italy and mainland Spain, and has distribution in some other markets such as Poland. Many European countries — including the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Norway and Switzerland — have little or no direct route from the brand, which is why cross-border sellers fill the gap.
Why is Kendamil so often out of stock?
Demand has repeatedly outpaced supply on the powder lines, particularly the organic range. Shortages tend to hit the brand’s own store and local retail at the same time. Ordering from a seller holding independent stock is one way around it.
Is the Kendamil sold in Poland the same as the UK version?
The Polish-market tins are from Kendamil’s continental range, which uses the Premium and Bio Nature names rather than the UK’s Classic and Organic. These are formulated for their own markets rather than being identical products relabelled. Check the ingredient panel if you are moving between them.
Do you deliver to the Canary Islands?
The Canary Islands are outside the EU VAT area, so parcels need customs paperwork and attract local IGIC tax rather than Spanish VAT. Check our delivery page for current rates and terms before ordering — the arrangement differs from mainland Spain.
Will I pay customs charges?
Not within the EU. Switzerland, Norway and the Canary Islands sit outside the EU VAT area, so import VAT and possibly a carrier handling fee may apply on arrival. Our prices for Switzerland and Norway are shown without EU VAT, which offsets part of that.
How many tins should I order?
Enough to clear the €120 free shipping threshold without stockpiling — typically four to six 800 g tins, around a month’s supply for a baby on full formula feeding. Bear in mind that opened tins should be used within about four weeks.
I’m in Lithuania. Should I use this site?
Use kobioki.lt instead. It is our Lithuanian site, in Lithuanian, with Lithuanian VAT and 1–2 day delivery.
In short
If you are in Ireland, France, Italy or mainland Spain, check Kendamil’s own EU store first — and come to us for the goat range, Comfort, or when stock runs out.
If you are in the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Norway or Switzerland, there is no direct route from the brand, and a European warehouse is the practical option.
If you are in Poland, buy single tins locally and order from us for range or larger orders.
If you are in Latvia or Estonia, we are two or three days away with no customs.
If you are in Lithuania, go to kobioki.lt.
Wherever you are, check the expiry date when your tins arrive, keep each scoop with its own tin, and talk to your pediatrician before changing your baby’s formula.
