Ready to feed formula arrives pre-mixed and sterile — no scoops, no measuring, no waiting for water to cool. Pour it into a clean bottle and feed. For 3am wake-ups, travel days, hospital bags and the exhausted early weeks, it removes every step that can go wrong when you are half asleep. These are the same organic European recipes as our powdered range, in liquid form.
When ready to feed formula earns its price
It costs more per feed than powder. Most families use it selectively rather than exclusively, and these are the situations where it is worth it:
Night feeds. No stumbling to the kitchen, no boiling and cooling, no risk of miscounting scoops at 3am.
Travel. Airports, flights, car journeys, days out. No access to safe water needed, nothing to measure.
The newborn weeks. When you are recovering from birth and running on fragments of sleep, removing preparation entirely is worth the premium.
Handing over to someone else. Grandparents, a babysitter, nursery — there is nothing to get wrong.
Newborns and immunocompromised babies. Liquid formula is commercially sterile. Powdered formula is not, which is why correct preparation with hot water matters so much. For very young or medically vulnerable babies, some pediatricians recommend liquid for this reason.
Practical notes
Before opening: store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Check the date.
Serving: shake, then pour into a sterilised bottle. Most European liquid formulas can be fed at room temperature; check the packaging for whether warming is recommended.
After opening: refrigerate any unused portion and use it within the window stated on the pack — typically 24 hours, but always follow the manufacturer. Discard anything left in a bottle your baby has fed from.
Never dilute it. Ready to feed formula is already at the correct concentration. Adding water changes the nutrition your baby receives and can be dangerous.
Shelf life: liquid formula has a shorter shelf life than powder. We guarantee a minimum of [X] months remaining on every ready to feed product we ship.
